The WET Centre gives visitors a chance to see live operation of the Precision Irrigation Package (PIP), a complete smart irrigation solution which features Delta-T Devices and Netafim UK equipment.
This powerful and convenient system, available through Netafim UK’s main dealer network, includes Delta-T Devices’s SM150T Moisture and Temperature Sensor alongside our advanced GP2 Data Logger and Controller. Live data can be remotely monitored on smart phones (via dashboards) using Delta-T’s online DeltaLINK-Cloud service.
The package comes complete with hardware, installation, training and support provided by NIAB EMR.

The WET Centre project is based partly on two earlier 3 year research and development projects in which Delta-T Devices was a key collaborator and technology provider.
These projects (IUK101623 & IUK102124) were funded by Innovate UK (IUK). The aim of these projects was to (i) make more efficient use of inputs including water, fertilisers and pesticides which is vital to the future success of all UK agri-businesses and (ii) deliver technology solutions that provide growers with decision support tools to manage the various elements of soft fruit tunnel production systems to optimise production output and resource use efficiency.
