New - Compact Weather Station
Despite the low system cost, the sensors are dependable and suitable for use in demanding environments. The galvanised steel tripod and unique, white painted stainless steel cross-arm ensure excellent physical strength.
The WS-GP1 is supplied in two suitcase-style carry cases that can be used to store or transport the system. The cases are easy to stow in a vehicle and are light enough for one person to carry. Getting a weather station on site has never been easier. The sensors and logger are ready assembled and pre-wired on the cross-arm, making it an easier task to assemble the system, even in difficult environments.
Data from the WS-GP1 is easy to access. Recorded weather data can be collected directly with a notebook PC, remotely by GSM modem, or with a Pocket PC PDA (running the optional Pocket DeltaLINK Software to collect and view the data, or reconfigure the logging set-up, in the field). Logging and display options include wind rose, gusts, averages (including direction and vector average) and maximum and minimum readings with times of occurrence.
The WS-GP1 is an excellent choice for field trials, environmental monitoring and a wide range of research applications where reliable and accurate weather data is required.
