SM150 Kit - Instant readings

The SM150 can be used with the NEW Delta-T Devices HH150 meter for instant readings. This combination forms the SM150 Soil Moisture Kit, which comes in a handy carry case as standard. For more information about the SM150 Kit, click here

For users who need a meter that can store readings for downloading to a PC, the HH2 Moisture Meter is suitable.

[HH2s supplied before 2012 will need a firmware upgrade to make them compatible with the SM150.] 

Easy installation
The SM150 Soil Moisture Sensor is buriable and its cylindrical shape makes it easy to install in augered holes (45mm diameter).The threaded base of the sensor can be connected to optional 50cm and 100cm extension tubes. Two sharp pins  minimise soil and substrate disturbance during insertion and this permits superior contact for more accurate measurements.


Substrate calibrations
The SM150 Sensor includes substrate calibrations for perlite, coir, peat, and mineral wool, as well as soils - providing a simple, rugged solution to checking the uniformity of growing conditions across many types of growing media.


Irrigation
Accuracy and ease of use make SM150 Soil Moisture Sensors well suited to irrigation applications. Readings can be used to optimise irrigation scheduling, or the SM150 can be installed as part of an automatic irrigation system. The sensor's compact size allows it to be installed in plant pots or grow bags

Data logging
The SM150 is compatible with all Delta-T Devices Data Loggers and its 0 to 1V DC output can be handled by most other types of data logger.
