Solar radiation measurement  Leaf porometer
Delta-T Devices has been providing high quality instrumentation for plant physiology and intercepted solar radiation studies for over 30 years and our products are used by researchers around the world.

SunScan quantifies the penetration of solar radiation into low, uniform plant canopies, such as crops, and displays Leaf Area Index (LAI) and is available in three configurations.The Complete system includes the unique BF5 above canopy reference sensor, allowing it to operate even in variable or overcast light conditions.

In contrast, Hemiview is suited to high, variable canopies, and can model the structure of forest canopies, deriving LAI and other indices. The latest design of Hemiview takes advantage of high performance camera technology for unprecedented image quality.

Leaf area meter

 
The  AP4 Porometer measures the rate of water diffusion though leaf surfaces and displays stomatal conductance. Its ease of use and simple calibration make it a leading instrument for the study of plant water status. It has gained a well deserved reputation worldwide for excellent performance and very long and reliable service.

 

 

WinDIAS 3 Image Analysis System offers high speed leaf area measurement and also the analysis of leaves and leaf features. It can, for example, measure percentage diseased leaf area, making it ideal for plant pathology and other agronomic applications.

WinDIAS  is now available with a scanner or an overhead USB camera. With the conveyor option, WinDIAS can mesure up to 800 leaves per hour.

The AP4 Porometer measures the stomatal conductance and stomatal resistance of plant leaves quikly and easily. BF5  Sunshine Sensor

·         Measures global and diffuse radiation, and sunshine duration
·         PAR reference sensor for SunScan System
·         No moving parts, shade rings or motorised tracking
·         Outputs can be PAR (mmol.m-2.s-1), Energy (W.m-2) or Lux

The special shading pattern of the BF5 Sunshine Sensor's dome is matched to an array of photodiodes in such a way that at least one photodiode always sees an unobstructed solar disc and at least one is always in full shadow.

SS1  SunScan Canopy Analysis System

SunScan is optimised for low regular canopies such as most agricultural crops.
