Plant and Canopy Monitoring

Delta-T has been providing high quality instruments for plant physiology and intercepted radiation studies for over 30 years. SunScan quantifies the penetration of solar radiation into low, uniform plant canopies, such as crops, and displays Leaf Area Index (LAI). In contrast, HemiView is suited to high, variable canopies, and can model the structure of forest canopies, deriving LAI and other indices. The AP4 Porometer measures the rate of water diffusion though leaf surfaces and displays stomatal conductance. Its ease of use and simple calibration make it a leading instrument for the study of plant water status.
