Launch of GP1 Data Logger and Irrigation Monitor

The GP1 is a new research-grade data logger at an affordable price......

The GP1 comes with:

2 differential analogue channels (0 to 2.5V)
2 temperature and 2 event counter channels
Memory for 600,000 readings (>1 year)

The two high resolution analogue channels achieve an accuracy of ±0.3mV (typical) over the full reading range.

Powerful control capability

As the “data logger/irrigation monitor” name suggests, the GP1 is more than a just another data logger. It has versatile alarm relay and control channel capabilities, which allow researchers to control experiments as well as monitor them.

Tailored for irrigation control

The GP1 can control irrigation directly from the soil moisture (and/or rainfall and/or temperature) or act as a sophisticated interface between these sensors and many types of programmable timer.

Flexible and easy to set up

The GP1’s versatility allows it to form the core of many instrumentation packages. For example, a Soil Monitoring Station can be assembled, comprising 2 x ML2 or 2 x SM200 (soil moisture sensors) plus, if required, 2 temperature sensors and and a rain gauge.

PDA option

The optional Pocket DeltaLINK kit allows users to download, or collect and view data at any time, using a 2200 series iPAQ (PDA).
