Relative Humidity and Air Temperature - RHT2
- Accurate and stable RH sensor
- ± 1% temperature accuracy
The RHT2nl is a combined RH and temperature sensor with replaceable sensing element and an air temperature sensor in a cylindrical louvered solar radiation shielded housing.
Alternatively a fan aspirated psychrometer (type VP1/TM1) with two thermistor sensors is available (details on request).

Wind Speed and Direction Sensors
- For research, agro-meteorological and industrial applications
Anemometers using a range of operating principles, including mercury-wetted reed switch, offer accurate and precise (1% ±0.01m/S) methods for measuring average wind speed, and can operate in temperatures as low as -30 deg C.
Wind direction can be determined accurately and easily using a choice of sensors.
The WD1, for example, is very sensitive, with a threshold wind speed of only 0.6m/s.

Temperature Sensors
- A wide range of temperature probes, based on thermistors and thermocouple sensors (range -50 to +300 deg C)
The probes allows temperature measurements to be taken in soil, air, sea water, fresh water and on leaf surfaces. Accuracy for measurements taken between 0-70°C can be as good as ±0.1 deg C. The range includes compact, flexible and fast response probes.
Cable for operation at -30 to +80 deg C are fitted as standard. Higher temperature cables are available upon request.

Barometric Pressure Sensor - BS4
- For low altitude use (0-1500m)
The BS4 Barometric Pressure Sensor can operate over a temperature range of -40 to +60 deg C at low altitude and is housed in a weatherproof (IP65) casing.
An indoor version is also available, suitable for use in non-condensing environments.

Rain Gauges - RG1 and RG2
- High quality, rugged sensors – for research and agro-meteorological applications
Delta-T rain gauges offer excellent performance and are robust, low maintenance instruments. They are based on the well established tipping bucket principle and options include heating (for use in snow) and ground level or mast mounting versions.
The RG1 is an innovative aerodynamic design to reduce airflow which can affect rain catch by the funnel. It is typically mounted at ground level and a heated version is available.
The RG2 is a compact design, perfect for agro-meteorological applications and can be mounted at ground level on a baseplate, or fixed to a mast to form part of a weather station.

Evaporation Pan and Gauge - EV2/P and EV2/G
- Well established technology for measuring evaporation
Capable of measuring up to 250mm of water with a typical accuracy of ± 0.5mm.

Surface Wetness Sensor - SWS
- To detect the presence of dew or rain
The SWS Surface Wetness Sensor is sensitive, being able to detect a droplet of water only 1mm in diameter. The simple loggable output allows the presence of surface moisture to be recorded – an important factor in plant disease prediction.

Water Depth Probe - WL1
- Accurate pressure transducer
The WL1 sensor can provide accurate depth measurements (±6mm) for use in lakes, the sea, wells, tanks, bore-holes etc. It can measure to a depth of over 3.5m and operates at temperatures as low as -20 deg C
