The new SM300 is a precision sensor that measures volumetric water content and soil temperature. It can be used in all soil types and is suited to applications in research, horticulture, agriculture and irrigation.

Easy to use The SM300 has strong measurement rods that minimise soil disturbance and make it simple to install, whether at the surface or buried. The sensor's cylindrical shape makes it suitable for use at depth in augered holes.

The SM300 is small enough for use in plant pots or grow-bags.

Instant readings The SM300 can be connected to an HH2 Moisture Meter, creating a highly portable system for instant measurements of moisture content in soil and other substrates.

Data Logging The SM300 is compatible with all Delta-T data loggers; they provide cost effective solutions for recording volumetric water content and soil temperature for up to 30 sensors. In fact the SM300 can be connected to most types of data logger (0 to 1V DC output for water content).
