WInDIAS 3 Image Analysis System for Leaves - NEW |
WinDIAS 3 is a powerful image analysis system for plant and tree leaves. WinDIAS can automatically measure the percentage of healthy and diseased leaf area – even at conveyor belt speeds. In addition, it can measure perimeter, length and width, and count the number of objects in view - of seeds or needles for example.
WinDIAS 3 features Advanced colour thresholding. In addition to measuring total leaf area, WinDIAS allows users to discriminate between the healthy, diseased and damaged areas of the leaf. A simple point and click process selects up to 10 colours in each of three separate threshold ranges. Scanner compatibility. WinDIAS 3 provides a scanner interface for the direct processing of scanner images. Scanners are not as quick as video cameras, but they provide a simple, low cost route to high resolution leaf analysis – particularly when used with the virtual conveyor - for processing a batch of stored images. Virtual Conveyor feature. WinDIAS 3 can be set to automatically process batches of images. This can be very convenient when working with multiple images obtained from a scanner or digital camera.
A choice of systems
Standard System. The Standard System is similar to the Rapid System but doesn’t include a Conveyor Belt Unit – it processes about 150 images per hour. Entry Level System. This simple combination of WinDIAS Software and an A4 flatbed scanner typically processes 50 images per hour (at high resolution).
