Company profile
Origins
Established in 1971, Delta-T specialises in instruments
for environmental science, in particular: agronomy, plant physiology,
eco-physiology, data logging, meteorology, soil moisture, solar energy
studies and environmental monitoring. Delta-T is a co-operative company,
owned and managed by the members who work within it. Co-operative working
creates an environment in which we all participate in the challenges
of the business and benefit from its success. We share a high level
of commitment to the company and to our customers.

High Quality Products
Delta-T's
instruments measure and record basic variables needed by scientists
and engineers. Our policy is to continually improve and extend the capabilities
of those instruments, using the most up to date theory and technologies.
Our experienced development team achieves a high rate of design innovation.
Some projects are completely in-house, but others take the form of collaborative
projects with leading institutions in many countries.
Complete Systems
Our capabilities go beyond straight-forward instrument sales - we can
also supply whole systems, including computers if required. Typical
examples are automatic weather stations and logging systems for multi-point
soil moisture measurement.
Support
Delta-T has retained thousands of loyal customers all over the world
who value the reliability, performance and long-term service that we
provide. Their feed-back is incorporated into many product designs to
create a process of continuous improvement.
Overseas Representation
Delta-T has an international network of representatives who can provide
local sales and service in most countries. Export sales account for
more than 75% of Delta-T's business and we pride ourselves on the high
standard of support given to our overseas customers.
Policy Statement
We have adopted the following statement to explain our sales policy:
"We aim to manufacture and sell instruments for use in work beneficial
to the environment and directly related to human and animal welfare.
As a matter of conscience, we reserve the right not to sell our instruments
to people or institutions involved in military work, tobacco research,
environmentally destructive practices and factory farming."
